What is the Tuition?
Training at the Fujin Dojo is a flat-fee $75 a month.
There is an initial fee of $200 to start training. This fee covers the
Uniform, Membershp in the World Ninpo Bugei Federation or Kokusai
Jujutsu Renmei, A book outlining the techniques for all leveles up to
Black Belt as well as your first month's tuition.
There are tuition discounts for additional family members, Chicago
Public School teachers, members of the Chicago Fire and Police
Departments, as well as veterans and serving military.
How do I sign up?
Either email info@fujindojo.com, or call to set up a time to observe or
try a free class. If you like it (and we're sure you will!) you can sign up
afterwards.
If you'd rather just drop by, that's okay too. Check the class schedule
here and plan your visit.
When are the beginner classes?
Classes at the dojo involve students forming groups of two or three
to work on their respective levels. The highest ranking students
work together at one end of the dojo while the lower ranking
students work together at the other. So, in essence, every class is
a beginner class and every class is an advanced class.
How old must I be to train here?
We take students as young as 12 or 13; usually about 7th grade.
As we have no "kid's classes" per se, students of all ages train
together in the same class.
Do I need any martial arts experience to begin?
Absolutely not. Previous experience is neither requried nor is it a
hinderance to your progress in this art.
